Hi all,

Just wondering, what's the benefit of a signature file and what is 'pm me' means?

Hi jkrene6,

What is "pm me" means? You send a message to another forum member. The "Inbox" on the top of the forum is where the member will get the message. The member will click on the "Inbox" and see their messages. Members can not send other members website or links, if they didn't ask for them. I had someone do that on another one of my forums and a member sent me the copy. The member who sent the advertising & link to their website was banned from my forum. Read my rules. If someone ask you for information about your website. It's alright to reply with your website information & link. Please keep the message about the member asking you for your website information & link. Just in case the other member is trying to get you banned.

It's another way to advertise. Most members put their websites and referral links. Once you post a message, you will check the box "Attach signature". Your signature will come up under your posted message. See my signature below.
